The history of the KIMBO Company, which produced Cafe do Brasil coffee, began in the 1940s. The Rubino family of Naples, using their extensive experience in roasting and brewing coffee, decided to devote themselves and their knowledge to creating espresso blends that would capture the ancient glory of the taste of Neapolitan coffee.
In 1940, the Rubino brothers opened a coffee shop in Naples and in 1963 launched the Café do Brasil brand. Using a revolutionary method of vacuum packaging that preserved the freshness and aroma of coffee for a long time, the company quickly became popular and shared authentic Neapolitan coffee with the world. In 1971, Café do Brasil was rebranded as Caffé KIMBO. In the second half of the 1970s, the company entered the national market with such success that by 1994 it became the second largest coffee producer in Italy.
The main advantage of KIMBO coffee is the unique and inimitable taste of real Neapolitan coffee, which brought the company worldwide fame and made KIMBO coffee a constant attribute of the most elite establishments in Europe. Today, KIMBO is one of the most popular coffee producers in Italy and the only global manufacturer that produces authentic Neapolitan coffee blends. The KIMBO brand is among the TOP-3 coffee producers in Europe. KIMBO's mission is to be the benchmark for coffee connoisseurs around the world.
