type of drink
Vat 69 is an excellent whisky produced by the company William Sanderson and Son in the town of South Queensferry, in the Scottish region West Lothian. The recipe of this whisky, which is created by the blending method, was developed by William Sanderson in 1882. Back then, William produced over one hundred barrels of various whisky kinds and invited a group of tasters to choose the best one. Devotees of hard alcohol liked most of all the drink from barrel No.69. This is how this whisky got its name – “vat” is translated as “barrel”.
