Talisker is an only whisky produced on the Isle of Skye since 1830. The name of the whisky comes from the Old Scandinavian language and means “a sloping rock” (Thalas Gair). Famous Scottish author Louis Stevenson considered Talisker as the king of drinks. Talisker is one of the most highly awarded single malt Scotch whiskies in the world.
