type of drink
The Clynelish distillery was built in 1967, not far from the village Brora, Sutherland, in the Eastern Highlands. The name Clynelish means “surrounded by pastures” in the Gaelic language. The Clynelish whisky is often called “gold water”, because the water for the production of this whisky is taken from the mines where, in XVIII century, gold was washed. This single malt whisky serves as the base for the blend Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve.
