Ukrainian wine KOBLEVO is a partner of Cinema for Victory

Ukrainian wine KOBLEVO became a partner of the opening ceremony of the Second National Documentary Film Festival Cinema for Victory, which presents documentaries filmed during the Russian-Ukrainian war. The festival is supported by the President of Ukraine and initiated by the Ukrainian State Film Agency. The founders of the festival are the NGO UKRKINOFEST, Molodist International Film Festival and Odesa Film Studio.

Winning films:

- In the nomination, the best short documentary film won the film Memories of the Future, directed by Semen Horov.

- The documentary Memory by Domnika Levchuk won in the category of the best feature film.

- In the nomination for Best Cinematography, the jury recognized the film Leverage by Oleksandr Stratiyenko.

- The film Warriors of Science directed by Kirill Bin won in the Best Director nomination.

- The Grand Prix of the festival was awarded to the team of the film Homo Amans (directed by Oleksandr Lidahovskyi).

- Special awards from the festival sponsors were presented to military actor Oleksandr Pecherytsia, who became the hero of the film Callsign 'Artist' (directed by Max Tuzov), and to the team of the film Operation Kursk (directed by Dmitry Kuyevda).

The festival program included 12 full-length and 4 short films that competed in five nominations: the best short and full-length documentary, the best directing, cinematography and the Grand Prix.

The international jury consists of renowned filmmakers: director and producer Philippe Azoulay, director Karimi Sahra, journalist and documentary filmmaker Bernard-Henri Levy, and director and actress Ariel Dombal. The national jury is composed of leading representatives of the Ukrainian film industry, including actor Andriy Fedinchyk, journalist and screenwriter Akim Galimov, Honored Artist of Ukraine Iryna Melnyk and director Andriy Donchyk.
